So if you haven't seen this blog since the last post, i have to first ask if you like the template. @Renee: thanks for the picture, but it seems like i had to change the HTML source code to change the font colour, i hope you like it.

So these holidays haven't been exceptionally productive, but hey i can't say much.

i've forgotten what to say, so i'll just ask what's on my pm: 'What's the worst game you have ever played?' this includes those pesky ice breaker games. :p

'It's my birthday, thanks for asking'

Its really interesting having a birthday that is scheduled smack bang in the middle of the holidays. I mean its great to know you shouldn't need to study, but if you can't or don't organize a party you don't get to be with friends as a result. I have to raise this point up after heaps of people say, 'Isn't it awesome that your birthday is in the holidays?'. Not really, because people go overseas, and on top of that since they haven't been putting their bum to seats filling in papers or frantically typing essays. What i'm attempting to say is that the enjoyment and relief of a party or even a birthday celebration subsides with the holidays. Reason? well i believe its partly due to the fact that people no longer have to relieve themselves of the stress education and work provides. Also i think its the mood of the holidays, you just become so much more relaxed anyways and procrastinate sun up and sun down.

Well i think i should put some stats up just for you blog readers and trolls to read. out of the over 500 friends i have on facebook, less than 90 said anything. Interestingly, the first was someone that i know out of school.

How about another interesting thing? On both of the outings i went to, only two people said 'happy birthday'. maybe because it hadn't happened yet, or maybe because i'm considered on the outs of the group? I have no idea guys, but thats just something i noticed. On that note: @Icedtrees: hope you like your prezzie.

I'm going to go on a tangent here, but why was it called the commune people? I feel like there's a lack of touch base and until i left there was a complete lack of activity. Maybe i guess, because you guys are soo deeply involved with your gaming careers, but it seems like i can't trust most of you guys. Sorry if you guys just realised, but sometimes the way people act after i guess one of the 'minions' leave the pack, can seem as suspicious behaviour. On that note, i thank JM for actually saying his opinion when i chose to leave the fb group.

So then onto a similar but different topic, holidays and work. Why is it that during holidays that you feel unwilling to do more work then you usually do on a regular basis, but also feel that if you don't do more, you're totally screwing yourself in the foreseeable future? My parents constantly whine about me not doing enough homework, and this not getting yourself into a routine. But to counter that argument is that leading edge course graph, which stated that if you blow heaps of hours of work early, you'll end up burning out. How do you know whether your study is effective? and furthermore, if its effective?

I mean I read most of people's blogs, which either consists of unfortunate events (happy apple get better soon, we are praying for you!), slight procrastination or crazy amounts of intense study? Yes, there are the occasional blog about an outing, but to those who do the intense study with particular focus on one subject? how do you guys do it? And do you think you guys can last doing that all year (assuming you change from subject to subject)?

Up to this point, i must say it's been a rather disappointing holidays, and sure everytime i say that people will always say 'look on the bright side blah blah blah', but sometimes you just have to be realistic. It hasn't been filled with study, or crammed full with productive study, but it hasn't been the ultimate bludge either. Furthermore, the day every year i usually look forward too, i felt a foreshadowing of gloom and boredom. Somehow it turned out to be that way, with the most exhilarating event being cancelled last minute due to weather conditions. Overall it was a bland day, nothing special.

So, someone else suggested organising an outing to celebrate my birthday, but it just feels wrong, after giving most of my social group the chance to say hbd, and some even a double dose, that to make an event happen just because of that, would show my isolation if not a sense of arrogance. Probably this whole blog shows both of those emotions, and now that i think about it, those two words isolation and arrogance seem so different but like black and white, come with each other.

I could keep on going off on tangents here and there, but hey, this is my blog which has frequent short posts and the odd long post, so i run it how i like to. The threat of going overboard never happened and the transitional holidays has been less than eventful. For better or worse, this is life and we should take it as it is.

So this post is to cover my post that i missed a while back. Hope you guys like the change. Just don't expect it everytime.

See ya!

Whoo!

Hey guys,

so there are two blog outings these holidays, sadly i can only make the earlier one. However the numbers for both are rather unknown as far as i can tell. But at least i think the details of the first is to meet up at castle hill AMP bowling at around 1pm. That's my interpretation of the email that Neku provided.

Now then, how productive have your holidays been all, readers and trolls?

Hope you guys enjoy procrastinating or being productive!

Hope i don't ruin my own stage band performance in Manly >_> on my birthday. GG

its OVA i tell you its OVA!

exams are finally over so i can go back into my routine of posting every week. Since its holidays i might sneak in a post on a random day to cover the missed post from last week. I must say, going to school for everyday of the exam period is draining. Sure it sucks when you have a double exam, but at least you can keep focused on the exams and not get drawn into procrastination. Also the more spread out your exams are, the more drained you get towards the end of the exam, i felt exhausted after chem was over. I couldn't even celebrate hardcore its over, although after maths extension was over, it felt completely over already.

So then, ive been asked and stated no, but for those interested there's some medicine lecture on this sunday at north ryde i believe. If your going goodluck in med if you take the course in uni!

My question to you guys is:
Do you find holidays more boring then school? Why or Why not?

I think i'll put in my opinion on this at the end of the holiday break just so as not to jinx myself lol. Hope you guys stay positive and maybe i'll see you somewhere if you want to see me. And if you don't then hope you don't see me either!

Pressure

Things are getting quite tense aren't they? I think posting is a short by useful release from all this studying. Hope everyone does well in their studies.

Sorry for the short post, just can't think of much. Anyways the question i'm thinking of:

What causes you to procrastinate the most?

Cos frankly for me, its the frustration of not completing a challenge.

Open Days

I feel disappoint. I missed out on USYD and UTS. Well ive avoided one week of tutoring for this once a year opportunity and hopefully come back from it knowing what i want to do. :/

Sorry for the late and short post but here's the question:

If you made a code that was ridiculously hard to crack, would you bet on people not being able to solve the code in a reasonable amount of time?

This question comes from the stuff Bobo has been doing lately, who has never had one of his things cracked.

Hamlet and Exams

I'll make it short because this isn't all too significant.

Today we went out to penrith where we have performed for band. There we saw this shakespeare presentation which actually was alright, somewhat boring as i barely understood what was said, i understood what happened though.

Also the other refers to something thats been on my mind all week, after burning my hand in chem prac exam. So yeah, how do you like your exam timetable? And how many exams do you have?

I have exams one day after the other, for the first 7 days, so if anyone has any suggestions as to how i should structure my exam prep, im all ears.
