I watched a few interesting youtube videos, and there are some games which just know how to outhack you when you hack it. Ive probably said this before, but i just want to touch on it as it affects my opinion of the conclusion of this game. Ever tried hacking fire emblem then come across a silver sword myrmidon in the arena when your at level 20? Not fun, especially when you max out speed and the myrmidon doubles you.
Well i think the end game of our interpretation of 'assassins' was rather crude, and i accept it usually ends up that way, but cheating is inevitable, its just the amount of 'cheating' that occurs that should dictate your choice of actions. Do i think i should have won? Well my intention was simply to get someone in our group to the top 10, make sure i last longer then the betrayer, and make it last longer than a week. Then when the host turned against us, that was added and to do that, i had to simply survive. The moral is, be wary but don't be stupid, that is people may have made agreements that people only want for their own interests, but in a complex strategy game like assassins you have to keep thinking what am i missing? There is no point going around slicing and dicing everyone as if your a tank, if you've ever played fe, you will know that even your assassins with a killing edge can still die. Assassins are units that specialise in sneak attacks with their silencer skill. Never, ever think that being an Assassin means you have to kill everyone immediately. take your time, gather info and strike when appropriate.
So this leads me to my question and sorry that this post was so involved by some strange game:
If you were to change your tactic what would you change? And if you didn't want to, explain why you think your strategy would be appropriate for you.
